Contributing to sports as a social responsibility, Soyak started the "Soyak Team" project in 2003, bringing sports and social responsibility together. The project was intended to last five years and was completed successfully in 2008 after reaching its targets.
Soyak Team
The Soyak Team project was designed with the belief that supporting sports would not only benefit the brand but also serve a very important cause by contributing to the promotion of Turkey and the improvement of Turkish sports people on a global scale. With this vision in mind, information about hundreds of athletes was compiled and around thirty were selected. At the end of the interviews held with these candidates, five athletes were chosen based on Soyak's goals and corporate values.
Five young athletes from five branches of individual sports were supported for five years under the project, which was undertaken to aid young and promising athletes, contribute to the development of individual sports and set an example for other institutions in Turkey to initiate similar projects.
These athletes proudly wear the Soyak brand, and each one of them made significant progress in their branch, successfully representing and contributing to the Soyak brand at the same time. Believing that individual sports need recognition and development as much as the crowd-pulling team sports, Soyak invested TL 2 million in this project.
